Cave Trials by Casiodorus

This was a fun project I was asked to colaborate with by a friend of mine. The game is still in development, but I've been given permission to share a short excerpt of my contribution to the project. The story itself is rather simple an earnest, but I'm always happy to elaborate and improve on the basics.

Small excerpt from the script:

'Greg: "…Tell me, boy."

Greg: "Are you happy that she's not with us anymore? That she sacrificed herself for us?"

Gary: "What!? Of course not!"

Greg: "There's your answer".

Gary: "But…"

Greg: "No buts. This is a lesson you're better off learning early."

Greg: "Heroic sacrifices aren't hardest on the people who make them, but the ones they leave behind."

Greg: "Would you leave me and your friends alone just to keep your pride intact?"

Gary: "N-no… I guess I wouldn't."

Greg: "Then you're already wiser than we were at your age. Want to make your mother proud? Come back alive."

Greg: "Understand, boy?"

Gary: "I... Yes, sir. I will."'
