World of Stella - In-development Visual Novel

This is my first attempt at writing an anime-style visual novel, especially one that focuses so much on romance. Still, it's been fun so far and I hope I can deliver the quality writing the developer needs all throughout the project:

A short excerpt from one of the scenes, soon to be adapted to script form:

'"One word. That's all I need."

"Hide," he said. "The gate will break any second."

"One word, Analyzer."

A sound like nails on a chalkboard boomed through the room as a gigantic crack broke through the middle of the gate. He took a step forward, pushing the girl behind him.

"One word?" he asked, almost whispering.

"Please."

The last of what kept the gate in place began to creak. Analyzer raised his arm, his blade reflecting the pale moonlight falling through the cracks in the ceiling.

"Weary."

The girl barely had time to react before the gate flew off its hinges, bouncing once, twice, then slamming itself against the ground, a thick cloud of dust rising from its outline, obscuring the creatures behind it. She was gone in an instant. Analyzer caught the glimpse of her running, throwing herself behind the debris on the other side of the room.

Good. Now he didn't have to worry about accidentally harming her.'
